So long turntables...

So as many of you know, DJing is a thing i love doing. Since before DJs became "RockStars". I loved everything about it. From finding music to playing the perfect track at the right time. I loved it. From old family parties watching my cousin Jonathons uncle scratch to Old School Flashbacks, Freestyle, Disco, 80s Disco. The music lived inside me. Watching people dance to what the dj was playing was like a religion. It wasnt till about 05 or 06 that my love for djing and music came about once again. Introduced to my sisters bf at the time Oscar a.k.a DJ Roxx. He mixed with an old school box. CDs. No FX. Just plain old listening to the beat and you matching it. Of course this was very difficult for me bc i had NO experience. Before i know it, im mixing at one of his parties! Hardstyle was my thing. DJ Irene n Caffeine were my idols! I even DJ'd his bday party. I thought i was honored lol. That same night i caught up wiht my frined John a.k.a DJ Pancake! Exchanged numbers! He was then inviting me to sessions with his other DJ friends! I could never jump that oppertunity bc i always had work! Pancake blew up. Lost my chance for big time DJing. Joseph a.k.a DJ Slick was my newest amigo. We became real close friends. We chilled n shit. Talked about music. Even exchanged his party breaks n electro with my shit. Id go to all his parties and from time to time he'd give some pointers. I even shot him a couple pointers lol. I ended up getting a gf...and my party nights came to an end. Lost contact with him and there goes the story. DJ Frankie Frank was my newest companion and still is! Always batteling it out with music. To see who has the better music! Mixed alot together. But we dont mix as much as we used to so our battles came to an end.

its gotten rocky. How am i sposed to love something i cant get my hands on? All these DJ's have seemed to give up on me. Even my friend Budda. Seen him the other day and even agreed to have a session with me. What Happens? Left hanging. Its gacho. Im not after their music. Im there to learn. To increase my love for it once again. Guess it was all a joke to them. Gacho.
